Richard Cash is a businessman and father of eight residing in the Powdersville area of Anderson County. An honors graduate of Furman University in Economics and Business Administration, Richard has founded and run several businesses over the past 20 years. He currently owns and manages rental properties. Richard earned his Masters of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and spent 7 years working full time in the pro-life movement. In 2015, Richard founded Personhood South Carolina, a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing legal personhood and protection for preborn babies beginning at conception. Richard and his wife Marcia have been married for 35 years. They have eight children and are more than halfway through the college years! (USC: 1, Clemson: 2, Anderson University: 3, North Greenville: 1) They recently welcomed their fifth grandchild. They are members at Christ Church, EPC, in Anderson. In his free time, Richard enjoys playing basketball and tennis and outdoor activities with his family.
