Richard Cash is a businessman and a father of eight residing in the Powdersville area of Anderson County.
A graduate of Furman University in Economics and Business Administration, Richard has founded and run several businesses over the past 18 years. He currently owns and manages rental properties.
Richard earned his Masters of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and spent 7 years working full time in the pro-life movement. In 2015, Richard founded Personhood South Carolina, a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing legal personhood for preborn babies beginning at conception.
Richard and his wife Marcia have been married for 31 years. They have eight children and are more than halfway through the college years! (USC: 1, Clemson: 1, Anderson University: 3, TBD: 3) They recently welcomed their second grandchild. They are members at Christ Church, EPC, in Anderson. In his free time, Richard enjoys sports. He serves as the athletic director of a homeschool sports organization and enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
